Gary Worthan (b. 1954) is a Republican member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing District 11 since 2013. He previously represented District 52 from December 2006 to 2013.

Worthan works as a farmer. He is a member of the Buena Vista County 4-H Committee, Buena Vista Cattleman's Association Board, Buena Vista County Extension Council, and the Farm Bureau.[1]

Worthan ran in the 2012 election for Iowa House of Representatives District 11. Worthan ran unopposed in the Republican primary on June 5, 2012 and was unopposed in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2][3]

Worthan won re-election to the 52nd District seat against Danuta Hutchins (D). Worthan had no opposition in the Republican primary. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.[4]
