Gary Worthan (b. 1954) is a Republican member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing the 52nd District since winning a special election in December 2006.

Worthan works as a farmer. He is a member of the Buena Vista County 4-H Committee, Buena Vista Cattleman's Association Board, Buena Vista County Extension Council, and the Farm Bureau.[1]

Worthan ran for re-election to the 52nd District seat against Danuta Hutchins (D). Worthan had no opposition in the Republican primary. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.

2008

On November 4, 2008, Worthan was re-elected to the 52nd District Seat in the Iowa House of Representatives, defeating Russell P. Camerer (D). [2] Worthan raised $28,932 for his campaign, while Camerer raised $1,151. [3]
