Seven Genesee County School District Levy Renewal measures will be on the May 4, 2010 ballot in seven school districts in Genesee County.

Six of the measures were approved and one resulted in a tie.

The first measure was for a renewal of Clio school district's $2.00 levy on each $1,000 of assessed property value for a further ten years. The money generated from this tax goes towards the building and sinking fund for the school district.

  • NO 367 (23.89%)

The second measure was for a renewal of the Goodrich school district's operations levy which is set at $18 per $1,000 of assessed property value.

  • YES 516 (61.07%)Approveda
  • NO 329 (38.93%)

The third measure was for the renewal of the Grand Blanc school district's building and site sinking fund which is a levy set at $1.00 per $1,000 of assessed property value. The levy would be in place for a further five years.
