George Darany is a Democratic member of the Michigan House of Representatives, representing District 15 since January 1, 2011.

Darany served as a member of the Dearborn City Council from 2007 through 2010. He is the former owner and founder of Classic Trolley Co.

Darany holds a degree in Economics from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.

Darany won re-election in the 2012 election for Michigan House of Representatives District 15. He ran unopposed in the August 7 Democratic primary and defeated Priscilla Parness (R) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012. [2]
