Demos is running in the 2014 election for the U.S. House to represent New York's 1st District. Demos is seeking the Republican nomination in the primary on June 24, 2014. The general election takes place November 4, 2014.[1]

Endorsements

Demos is endorsed by former New York Governor George Pataki.[6]

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani endorsed George Demos on March 7, 2014.[7][8]

Demos ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent New York's 1st District. He sought the nomination on the Republican ticket but withdrew before the primary.

Personal

Demos is the son-in-law of Angelo K. Tsakopoulos. Tsakopoulos is a major Democratic donor and the chairman of AKT Development Corporation, a real estate firm.[9]
