George Flowers was a Republican candidate for District 29 of the Alabama State Senate. The primary election was on June 1, 2010 and the general election was on November 2.

Flowers attended and received degrees from both Auburn University and the University of Alabama. He is currently employed as President of Cox Swimming Pools, Inc.

Flowers and his wife, Laura, have three children.

Flowers defeated Nathan Mathis in the June 1 primary. He was defeated by incumbent Harri Anne Smith in the general election.[1][2]
