The question on the ballot:
|Shall the previously voted increase in the tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Section 6, of the Michigan Constitution, on general ad valorem taxes within Gilford Township be renewed at 1.0 mills ($1.00 per $1,000.00 of taxable value) for the period of 8 years, December 1, 2012 through December 1, 2019 inclusive, for fire protection services in Gilford Township, and shall Gilford Township levy a renewal in millage for said purpose, thereby raising an estimated $39,275.00 in the first year the millage is levied?|
