Gordon Ball was a 2014 Democratic candidate seeking election to the U.S. Senate from Tennessee.[1] Ball defeated Larry Crim, Gary Davis and Terry Adams in the Democratic primary.[2] Ball will face incumbent Lamar Alexander, independent candidates Ed Gauthier, Bartholomew Phillips, C. Salekin, Danny Page, Eric Schechter, Joe Wilmoth, Joshua James and Rick Tyler, Tea Party candidate Tom Emerson, Jr. and Green Party candidate Martin Pleasant in the general election.

Biography

Ball earned a B.S. from East Tennessee State University in 1970 and earned his J.D. from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at Memphis State University in 1974. He has been practicing law since 1975.[3]

Ball defeated Larry Crim, Gary Davis and Terry Adams in the Democratic primary.[2] Ball will face incumbent Lamar Alexander, independent candidates Ed Gauthier, Bartholomew Phillips, C. Salekin, Danny Page, Eric Schechter, Joe Wilmoth, Joshua James and Rick Tyler, Tea Party candidate Tom Emerson, Jr. and Green Party candidate Martin Pleasant in the general election. The general election took place November 4, 2014.
