Gordon C. Helsel, Jr. is a Republican member of the Virginia House of Delegates, representing District 91. He was first elected to the chamber in a 2011 special election on March 8, 2011.[1] Helsel filled the vacancy created when Tom Gear (R) resigned due to personal health problems and health problems in his family.

Helsel won re-election in the 2013 election for Virginia House of Delegates District 91. Helsel ran unopposed in the June 11 Republican Primary. He was unopposed in the general election which took place on November 5, 2013.[2]
