A Grant School District Bond Measure measure will be on the August 7, 2012 ballot in the Grant school district, which is in Muskegon County.

This measure seeks to issue a bond in the amount of $3.7 million which would help pay for upgrading technology as well as remodeling and refurbishing school buildings as needed in the district.[1]

The question on the ballot:

Shall Grant Public Schools, Newaygo, Kent and Muskegon Counties, Michigan, borrow the sum of not to exceed Three Million Seven Hundred Thousand Dollars ($3,700,000) and issue its general obligation unlimited tax bonds therefore, in two series, for the purpose of: Acquiring and installing educational technology improvements, together with related wiring, infrastructure, equipment and remodeling for school district buildings?[2]
