A Grays Harbor County Fire District 2 Levy Increase measure was on the August 16, 2011 ballot in the fire district 2 area of Grays Harbor County.

This measure sought to increase the current medical services levy to a rate of $1.36 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to pay for maintennce and operational costs of facilities in the district.[2]

The question on the ballot:

The Board of Commissioners of Grays Harbor County Fire Protection District No. 2 adopted Resolution No. 2011-05 concerning a proposition to finance maintenance, operations and capital facilities. This measure would ensure the continued delivery of fire protection and emergency medical services by restoring the 2011 property tax levy to $1.36 per $1,000.00 of assessed valuation for collection in 2012 and authorizing a limit factor of 106% of each of the five succeeding years (but not to exceed a levy rate of $1.36). The maximum allowable levy in 2016 shall be used to determine future increases as allowed by Chapter 84.55 RCW.[3]
