Two Groton & Vermilion Township Fire Levy Renewal measures were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the townships of Groton and Vermilion, which are in Erie County.

Both measures were approved

The Groton township measure sought to renew the current fire levy which is set at a rate of 1.75 mills for a further five years in order to continue to pay for fire protection and emergency medical services in the township.

The Vermilion township measure sought to renew the current fire levy which is set at a rate of 1 mill for a further three years in order to continue to pay for fire protection services in the township.[1]
