Gunin Kiran is the District A member on the Montgomery County School Board. She was elected in an unopposed race on November 5, 2013. Incumbent Phyllis T. Albritton chose not to seek re-election.

Biography

Kiran is a substitute teacher for Montgomery County Public Schools. She also serves on the board of the Montgomery County Educational Foundation. She has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Chemical Engineering. She has three children and lives in Blacksburg, Virginia with her husband, Erdogan.
