Harold Melton was a 2012 Republican candidate for District 47 of the Michigan House of Representatives.

Melton is a commercial pilot, flight instructor, firearms instructor, and precinct delegate. For 38 years, he worked in road construction.[2]

Melton ran in the 2012 election for Michigan House of Representatives District 47. He was defeated by incumbent Cindy Denby in the Republican primary on August 7.[3]
