Two School District Non Residential Property Levy measures were on the November 2, 2010 ballot in the Hartford and South Haven school district areas which are in Van Buren County.

Both measures were approved

The Hartford school district measure sought to increase the current non residential property tax levy by .28 mills to increase the total levy to the full 18 mills allowed in order to help with school funding.

  • YES 744 (56.58%)Approveda
  • NO 571 (43.42%)

The South Haven school district measures sought to renew the current non residential property tax levy which is set at a rate of 17.49 mills for a further three years in order to help with operational costs of the school district.[1]

  • YES 2,668 (64.9%)Approveda
  • NO 1,443 (35.1%)[2]
