Hayden Rogers was a 2012 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 11th Congressional District of North Carolina.[1] Rogers defeated Tom Hill and Cecil Bothwell in the Democratic primary on May 8, 2012.[2]

Rogers was defeated by Republican candidate Mark Meadows on November 6, 2012.[3]

Rogers ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent North Carolina's 11th District. Rogers won the nomination on the Democratic ticket. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run was February 29, 2012. Rogers defeated Cecil Bothwell and Tom Hill in the May 8, 2012, Democratic primary.[2]

The Washington Post listed the House of Representatives elections in North Carolina in 2012 as one of the states that could have determined whether Democrats retook the House or Republicans held their majority in 2013.[4] North Carolina was rated 8th on the list.[4]
