Helio Melo (b. January 10, 1968) is a Democratic member of the Rhode Island House of Representatives, representing District 64. He joined the Rhode Island House of Representatives in 2005.

Melo attended the University of Rhode Island. He currently works for The Jan Companies.

Melo served on the School Committee of the City of East Providence from 1998 to 2004.

Melo won re-election in the 2012 election for Rhode Island House of Representatives District 64. Melo was unopposed in the September 11 Democratic primary and was unopposed in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1]
