Henry Marsh has been a Democratic member of the Virginia State Senate since 1992, representing the 16th district.

Marsh received a A.B. in Sociology at Virginia Union University and a LL.B. at Howard University.

In addition to serving as senator March is an attorney at law. March is also a member of the Methodist Church.
