Herb Snyder (b. September 7, 1953) is a Democratic member of the West Virginia State Senate, representing District 16. He was first elected to the chamber in 2008.

Biography

Snyder earned his B.S. in Chemistry/Business from Shepherd College in 1977.

Snyder is the owner and director of Hydrochem Laboratories. Snyder's political career began with his service on the Jefferson County Commission from 1991 to 1996. He then served in the West Virginia State Senate from 1996 to 2004. He ran again in 2004 but was defeated.[1]
