Hob Bryan (b. December 5, 1952) is a Democratic member of the Mississippi State Senate, representing District 7. He was first elected to the chamber in 1983.


Bryan earned his B.A. from Mississippi State University, and J.D. from the University of Virginia. His professional experience includes working as an attorney.

Bryan won re-election to the Mississippi Senate, District 7. He ran unopposed in the primary on August 2, 2011. Edward Mattox ran unopposed in the Republican primary, but was disqualified prior to the general election, allowing Bryan to win the November 8, 2011 general election unopposed. [1]
