A Homedale Highway District Tax & Budget Increase question was defeated on the May 21, 2013, election ballot in Owyhee County, which is in Idaho.

Question on the ballot:

Shall Homedale Highway District be authorized to increase its budget for Idaho Code section 40-801(1)(a) property tax levy for the construction and maintenance of highways and bridges in an amount not to exceed the sum of One Hundred Seventy Five Thousand and No/100s Dollars [$175,000.00] beyond the amount authorized Idaho Code Section 63-802(1)(a) commencing for the fiscal year 2013-2014 and then as the base amount for all subsequent fiscal years as authorized by law?[1][2]
