Horatio Cowan was a Republican candidate for District 47, Maine House of Representatives in the November 2, 2010 state legislative election.

Cowan's opponent in the November 2 general election was Democratic incumbent Edward Mazurek. According to unofficial results, Mazurek defeated Cowan in the November 2 general election. [1]

Cowan was chosen by a Republican caucus as a replacement for withdrawn candidate Michael McNeil. [2]
