Howard Worthy was a 2012 Democratic candidate for Michigan House of Representatives in District 35. He was a Democratic candidate for District 14 in the Michigan State Senate in the November 2, 2010, state legislative elections.

Worthy is a retired Army veteran. He is a former Detroit police officer and Advertising Project Director for the Chamber of Commerce.[1]

Worthy ran in the 2012 election for Michigan House of Representatives District 35. He was defeated by incumbent Rudy Hobbs in the August 7 Democratic primary. Timothy C. Sulowski ran unopposed in the Republican primary.[2][3]
