The 16th Congressional District of Illinois is a congressional district covering a part of northern Illinois, including the cities of Rockford, Crystal Lake, Machesney Park, Belvidere, Freeport and Galena, and all or parts of Jo Daviess, Stephenson, Winnebago, Boone, McHenry, Carroll, Ogle, DeKalb, and Whiteside counties.

The current representative of the 16th congressional district is Don Manzullo (R).

The 16th congressional district of Illinois will hold an election for the U.S. House of Representatives on November 6, 2012.


On November 2, 2010, Donald A. Manzullo won re-election to the United States House of Representatives. He defeated George W. Gaulrapp (D) and Terry G. Campbell (G) in the general election.[1]
