Illinois' 17th Congressional District covers much of western Illinois and includes the counties of Winnebago, Stephenson, Jo Davies, Carroll, Whiteside, Henry, Rock Island, Knox, Warren, Mercer, Henderson, Fulton counties and parts of Tazewell and Peoria counties.[2]
