The 5th Congressional District
is a congressional district spanning much of the North Side of the City of Chicago from Lake Michigan into the western suburbs. It includes Schiller Park, Franklin Park, River Grove, Elmwood Park, Northlake and Melrose Park. Wrigley Field and Chicago's Boystown are both located in this district, along with the Chicago neighborhoods of Lakeview, Uptown and Lincoln Park.
The current representative of the 5th congressional district is Mike Quigley (D).

The 5th congressional district of Illinois will hold an election for the U.S. House of Representatives on November 6, 2012.
On November 2, 2010, Mike Quigley won re-election to the United States House of Representatives. He defeated David Ratowitz (R) and Matthew Reichel (G) in the general election.
