Qualifications
The term of office of the lieutenant governor of Indiana is four years.
A candidate for lieutenant governor is required to be:
- at least thirty-years old
- a United States citizen
- a resident of Idaho for at least five consecutive years prior to the election
- may not hold any other state or federal office during their term
