An Isla Vista Recreation and Park District Sale of Properties, Measure D ballot question was on the November 4, 2008 ballot for voters in the Isla Vista Recreation and Park District in Santa Barbara County, California, where it was overwhelmingly defeated.

If Measure D had been approved, it would have authorized the Isla Vista Recreation and Park District to:

  • Sell or trade Pardall Gardens and the District office properties.
  • Transfer and/or swap subterranean and other use rights from Anisq'Oyo’, People’s and Perfect parks.

The funds realized from the sale/transfer/swap of these properties would have been used to build a community center and to expand the district's infrastructure.
