Andrew Gipson (b. December 21, 1976) is a Republican member of the Mississippi House of Representatives. He has represented the 77th District since 2008.

Gipson is an Attorney with Watkins, Ludlum, Winter and Stennis, and owner of Gipson Land and Cattle. He earned his JD from the Mississippi College School of Law and BA from Mississippi College.

Gipson is a Deacon at First Baptist Church, and a member of Gideons International, Mississippi Bar Association, and the Mississippi Cattlemen's Association. [1]

Gipson is running in the 2011 election for Mississippi House of Representatives District 77. He ran unopposed in the primary on August 2, 2011. No Democratic candidates filed to run for election. The general election takes place on November 8, 2011. [2]

2007

On November 6, 2007 Gipson was elected in District 77, defeating Democratic challenger Dale Berry in the general election.[3] Gipson defeated incumbent Clint Rottenberry and Billy Therrell in the primary election with 1,455 votes versus 1,207 and 454, respectively.[4]
