Jack Conners was a Democratic member of the New Jersey General Assembly, representing District 7 from his election in 1998 until his resignation in 2011. From 2006 until his resignation, he served as Deputy Speaker of the Assembly. On April 5, 2011, Conners announced he would not be seeking re-election in 2011, citing the fact that his district was moved in the redistricting process.[1] On August 25, 2011, Connors resigned in order to begin work at his new position as Camden County’s director of veterans’ affairs.[2] Troy Singleton was appointed to fill his seat.[3]

Conners is the Vice President/Regional Manager of Government Banking for Bank of America.[4]

Conners did not seek re-election in 2011, citing the fact that his district was moved in the redistricting process.[6]


Running for re-election in the 2009 general election, Conners defeated challengers Leah J. Arter and Harry Adams. He was bracketed with Herbert Conaway, Jr..[7][8]
