Path to the ballot
On March 24, 2010 the Cass County Election Commission approved the clarity language to allow the gathering of signatures of registered voters to recall Jacqueline Boggs, Township Clerk. A minimum of 260 valid signatures are required in order for the recall to be placed on the ballot. If signatures are turned in by April 30th, the recall of Jacqueline Boggs will be on the Township's August primary ballot.

August 3, 2010 Milton Township, Niles MI 49120 - The proposal was followed by the question posed to the voters: Shall Jacqueline Boggs be removed from the office of Milton Township Clerk. The voters turned out in large numbers. Result: Yes To Recall 339 Votes NO To Recall 109.
