Bednarski ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Pennsylvania's 16th District. Bednarski ran as an Independent and faced Aryanna Strader (D), incumbent Joseph R. Pitts (R) and John Murphy (I) in the November 6, 2012, general election.[2]
