James Desrochers was a 2012 Independent candidate who sought election to the U.S. House representing the at-large Congressional District of Vermont.

Desrochers was defeated by incumbent Peter Welch.[1] Desrochers ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Vermont's at-large District. He ran as an Independent candidate. He faced Mark Donka (D), Peter Welch (R), and Andre LaFramboise (VoteKISS) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2]
