James G. Skoufis (b. 1987) is a Democratic member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 99. He was first elected to the chamber in 2012.


Skoufis earned his B.A. from George Washington University in 2008 and his M.A. from Colombia University in 2009. His professional experience includes being a former Project Manager at Amerigard Alarm and Security Corporation.[1]

Skoufis ran in the 2012 election for New York State Assembly District 99. He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on September 13, 2012; he also ran on the Working Families Party ticket. He defeated Kyle P. Roddey in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
