James Shuler is a former Democratic member of the Virginia House of Delegates, representing District 12 from 1994 to 2012.

Prior to his election to the House, Shuler served on the Virginia State Board of Health from 1983-1988, and the Blacksburg Town Council from 1982-1988. He is the founder/owner of Companion Animal Clinic.[1]

Issue positions

Shuler's answers to the Virginia State Legislative Election 2005 National Political Awareness Test are available. The test provides an overview of a candidate's views on a number of issues. Shuler did not answer the question asking his top priorities.[2]
