A Jamestown Township Road Levy Renewal measure is on the August 7, 2012 ballot in the township of Jamestown, which is in Ottawa County.
This measure seeks to renew the current road levy which is set at a rate of $1.50 per $1,000 of assessed value for a further two years in order to continue to pay for road improvement costs in the township.

The question on the ballot:
|| Shall the previous voted increase in the tax limitations imposed under Article IX, Section 6 of the Michigan Constitution upon general ad valorem taxes on real and personal property within Jamestown Charter Township reduced by required rollback to 1.5 mills (2012-tentative) be renewed at 1.5 mills ($1.50 per $1,000 of taxable value) for a period of two years, 2013-2014, inclusive, for the purpose of providing funds for the improvement of secondary roads situated in Jamestown Charter Township; and shall Jamestown Charter Township be authorized to levy such millage for such purpose? If that renewal millage is authorized and levied, the amount the Township will collect in the first year is estimated to be $406,000.
