Janet L. Duprey (b. November 27, 1945) is a Republican member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 115. She was first elected to the chamber in 2006.

She previously represented District 114 in the Assembly from 2007 to 2013. Duprey is also a county committee member of the Clinton County Republican Committee. Her other political experience includes treasurer of Clinton County; chair for the Town of Peru Republican Committee; and legislator with Clinton County.[1]

Duprey ran in the 2012 election for New York State Assembly District 115. She defeated David J. Kimmel and Karen M. Bisso in the Republican primary on September 13, 2012. She also ran on the Independence Party of New York State ticket. She defeated Timothy R. Carpenter and Karen M. Bisso in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]

Duprey defeated David Kimmel in the September 14 Republican primary, but Kimmel secured the Conservative Party nomination. She defeated faced Rudolph Johnson Sr. (D) and David Kimmel (C) in the general election on November 2.[4] In addition to running on the Republican ticket, she ran on the Independence Party of New York State ticket.
