Janet Duprey (b. November 27, 1945) is a Republican member of the New York State Assembly. She has represented District 114 since 2007. Duprey is also a county committee member of Clinton County Republican Committee. Her other political experiences include treasurer of Clinton County; chair for the Town of Peru Republican Committee; and legislator with Clinton County.

She and her husband, Elmer, have two children John and Michelle.[1]

Duprey is running in the 2012 election for New York State Assembly District 115. She defeated David J. Kimmel and Karen M. Bisso in the Republican primary on September 13, 2012. She is also running on the Independence Party of New York State ticket. Kimmel and Bisso are also running in the Conservative Party primary. Timothy R. Carpenter ran unopposed in the Democratic primary. The general election takes place on November 6, 2012. [3][4]

Duprey defeated David Kimmel in the September 14 Republican primary, but Kimmel secured the Conservative Party nomination. She defeated faced Rudolph Johnson Sr. (D) and David Kimmel (C) in the general election on November 2.[5] In addition to running on the Republican ticket, she ran on the Independence Party of New York State ticket.
