Janis Ringhand is a Democratic member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, District 80. She was first election in 2010.

Ringhand was Mayor of Evansville from 2002-2006, after serving as an alderwoman from 1998-2002 and president of city council from 2000-2002.

She is a graduate of Madison Area Technical College in 1985, and is a former accountant.[1]
