Jarad Klein is a Republican member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing District 78 since 2013. He previously represented District 89 from 2011 to 2013.

Klein is a fifth-generation farmer who raises corn, soybean and swine. He has previously served as chairman of the Keokuk County Republican Party and as rules chairman of the Republican Party of Iowa. He is a current member of the Iowa Corn Growers Association, the Iowa Soybean Association, and the Washington County Farm Bureau. Klein attended Drake University.

Klein ran in the 2012 election for Iowa House of Representatives District 78. Klein defeated Priscilla Marlar in the Republican primary on June 5, 2012. No Democratic candidates filed in the district. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]
