Jason Howell was a 2012 Independent candidate seeking election to the U.S. House representing the 8th Congressional District of Virginia. He was defeated by Jim Moran on November 6, 2012.[1]


Howell was born in the United States, but spent six years of his childhood in Trinidad and Tobago. He earned his bachelor's degree from George Mason University. Howell has worked as an accountant, recruiter, author, and speaker.[2]
