Jason Nelson is a Republican member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives. He has represented the 87th District since 2008. He previously served as the legislative liaison to the Oklahoma House of Representatives from Frank Keating's office was Keating was the Governor of Oklahoma.

Nelson owns a public relations firm and a wood furniture building, repair and restoration business. He and his wife, Lori, have two children: Benjamin and Grace.

Nelson ran in the 2012 election for Oklahoma House District 87. Nelson ran unopposed in the Republican primary on June 26 and defeated Nick Singer in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]
