Jeff McCabe was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 5 of the Wisconsin State Assembly.[1]

The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 2, 2014. Jeff McCabe was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Jim Steineke was unopposed in the Republican primary. McCabe and Steineke faced off in the general election.[1][3] Incumbent Steineke defeated McCabe in the general election, and was re-elected to another term.[4]

McCabe ran in the 2012 election for Wisconsin State Assembly District 5. He defeated Ryan Ferguson in the Democratic primary on August 14, 2012.[5] and was defeated by incumbent Jim Steineke (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[6]
