Jeff Smith is a Republican member of the Iowa House of Representatives. He has represented the 6th District since 2011.

Smith was most recently a farm and commercial lender and bank manager at First Bank and Trust in Spirit Lake, IA before moving to Okoboji two years ago. Previously, he raised corn, soybeans and swine on his family farm. Smith has also served on the agriculture committee of the Iowa Bankers Association and on the board of directors of the Spirit Lake Mainsail Chamber of Commerce.

He holds a B.S. in Public Service and Administration from Iowa State University.
