Jennifer Petersen is a 2014 candidate for the Scottsdale, Arizona City Council. She ran unsuccessfully for District 23 of the Arizona House of Representatives in 2012 as a Republican.

The city of Scottsdale, Arizona held city council primary elections on August 26, 2014. The general election will take place on November 4. Three of the six council seats are up for election. Because no candidate received a majority of the total votes in the primary election, the top six candidates will proceed to the general election. Incumbents Linda Milhaven and Dennis Robbins will face Cindy Hill, Kathy Littlefield, Jennifer Petersen and David N. Smith.[1][2]

Petersen ran in the 2012 election for Arizona House of Representatives District 23. She was defeated by incumbents John Kavanagh and Michelle Ugenti in the Republican primary on August 28, 2012. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[3][4]
