Jerry Hill was an Independent candidate for District 5 of the Alabama House of Representatives. The primary election was on June 1, 2010 and the general election was on November 2.

Hill served on the City Council of Athens, Alabama, from 1986 to 1990. He was also a candidate for the Alabama House of Representatives in 2006 but was not elected.

Hill earned his BBA in Business from Campbell College in 1974. He went on to receive his MAS in Management from the University of Alabama in 1978.

Hill served in the United States Army from 1958 to 2008.

He and his wife, Brigitte, have three children.

Hill was defeated in the November 2 general election by Republican Dan Williams.[1]
