Jerry Kearns is a Democratic member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing the 92nd District since 2009. He was a County Supervisor on the Lee County Board of Supervisors from 1983-2001.

Kearns served in the United States Air Force from 1965-1969. He has worked as an Industrial Electrician with Metzeler Automotive, and as a Staff Representative of the United Steelworkers.

He is a member of the Lee County Labor Council, University of Iowa Labor Advisory Board, and Co-Chair of the Lee County Labor-Management Commission.[1]

Kearns is running in the 2012 election for Iowa House of Representatives District 83. Kearns ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on June 5, 2012. No Republican candidates filed for the district. The general election takes place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
