Jerry Kearns is a Democratic member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing the 92nd District since 2009. He was a County Supervisor on the Lee County Board of Supervisors from 1983-2001.

Kearns served in the United States Air Force from 1965-1969. He has worked as an Industrial Electrician with Metzeler Automotive, and as a Staff Representative of the United Steelworkers.

He is a member of the Lee County Labor Council, University of Iowa Labor Advisory Board, and Co-Chair of the Lee County Labor-Management Commission.[1]

2008

On November 4, 2008, Kearns was elected to the 92nd District Seat in the Iowa House of Representatives, defeating Gary G. Ramaker (R). [2] Kearns raised $46,008 for his campaign, while Ramaker raised $5,544. [3]
