Jim Abeler (b. May 18, 1954) is a Republican member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, representing District 35A. He was first elected to the chamber in 1998.

Biography

Abeler attended Hamline University and the University of Minnesota, and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from the Northwestern College of Chiropractic.[1]

Abeler won re-election in the 2012 election for Minnesota House of Representatives District 35A. He was unopposed in the Republican primary on August 14 and defeated Andy Hillebregt (D) and Justin Boals (Independence) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
