Oberweis is running in the 2012 election for Illinois State Senate District 25. Oberweis is running against Dave Richmond and Richard Slocum in the Republican primary on March 20, 2012. Incumbent Chris Lauzen is not running for re-election in District 25. The general election takes place on November 6, 2012.[1]
